Motivación para el alumno:
Experiencias

Students’ motivation:
Experiences
- Working together, through an interdisciplinary approach, areas of knowledge that are often studied separately at school level (e.g. connecting maths and technology to design a car with solar panels)
- Collaborating with other local and international students (being in touch with their homologous in other regions or countries)
- Developing projects for inspiring/motivating their homologous (work hard to develop likeable projects to others)
- Listening, seeing and evaluating the projects of others who work to inspire and motive us
- Making use of the existing technology: editing videos, GeoGebra files, undertaken videoconferences, etc.
- Dissemination of their work in their own institution and outside of it, through posters, news, etc.
- Feeling part of an European project; to appear in the official website as KIKS collaborator or member, and to obtain official certificates, etc.
- Trying to do all the above in the English language or in a different language to their mother tongue.
Events
- Local meetings: students travel from their own school to the meeting place (local university or conference place) to show their own work and to interact with students from different schools
- Local and international meetings, through videoconferences, to interact with those who are far away
Teachers’ motivation:
- To observe their students motivated/enthused/interested participating in an international Project
- Being part of a community of educators, interested on STEAM. Being connected with others teacher at a local and international level
- Attending local and international events and interacting with their homologous
- Possibility of attending our teacher training course on STEAM and obtaining local government certifications and teaching credits
