The first kick-off at English Schools was held on June 8th at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell. Twelve students participated in the event from Park House School in Newbury. They were led by a variety of educators: Dr. Yota Dimitriadi from Reading University; Ray Buckland, a computer engineering; Tom Woodger, a science teacher at the Hurst School in Tadley; Pete Marshman an experienced school teacher; and Sophy Palmer, Education Manager at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at Harwell.
