El proyecto STEM realizado por equipos del IES La Albericia de Santander tiene como finalidad que los alumnos diseñen y construyan un robot que funcione de manera autónoma o guiado con un dispositivo inalámbrico. Para la construcción de la estructura se han empleado algunos materiales reciclados como cartón, plástico y láminas de aluminio. La parte eléctrica consta de una batería de potencia que alimenta varios servomotores capaces de hacer girar la cabeza y desplazar el robot.  La parte electrónica se compone de una serie de LEDs, RGBs y zumbadores que se alojan en la cabeza para simular los efectos de luz y sonido de R2D2. Finalmente, la parte más importante son los microcontroladores Arduino con Bluetooth incorporado, que permiten programar los movimientos del robot y ser gobernados a distancia por un móvil o tablet gracias al programa App Inventor.

Resolución de la actividad:

Los alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato Pablo Varas y Diego del Pozo se decidieron por reproducir este mediático robot que aparece en la saga Star Wars.

                                 

Otros grupos crearon los robots «Güido» y «Machaca Hommer», personajes de las series «Cars» y «los Simpsons».

The STEM project carried out by three teams of La Albericia School from Santander aims at students to design and build a robot that operates autonomously or guided with a wireless device. For the construction of the structure some recycled materials such as cardboard, plastic and aluminum sheets have been used. The electric part consists of a battery of power that feeds several servomotors able to make turn the head and to move the robot. The electronic part consists of a series of LEDs, RGBs and buzzers that are housed in the head to simulate the light and sound effects of R2D2. Finally, the most important part is the Arduino microcontrollers with built-in Bluetooth, which allow you to program the movements of the robot and be governed remotely by a mobile or tablet thanks to the App Inventor program.

Resolution of the activity:

The students of 1º de Bachillerato Pablo Varas and Diego del Pozo decided to reproduce this media robot that appears in the saga Star Wars.
